Congratulations to our amazing Rhame, Centre and Jr. High science scholars who put their research skill and creativity on display at the district's STEM Night on May 9.

Over 150 projects were showcased at the event, plus we were treated to special presentations by two of our award winning science research seniors, Peter Kaplan and Everett Gamache, and took a trip through the galaxy in the Cradle of Aviation planetarium.

The month of May is recognized nationally as Mental Health Awareness Month, providing an opportunity to raise awareness, combat stigma, prioritize our well-being and promote open conversations about helpful and available mental health resources.

In honor of National Youth Week, members of the Lynbrook Elks Lodge once again visited Rhame Avenue with donations of crayons, markers, and sketch pads.

The Elks Lodge has been supporting our students throughout the years as we strive to cultivate kind, respectful, safe students. We thank them for their ongoing friendship and support!

Rhame Avenue kicked off their PARP events with “Home Run for Reading” where our ERHS baseball players visited every classroom and conducted a read aloud.

This was a great opportunity to promote reading and have our students learn from positive role models in their community.

Our ERHS science research students provided guidance and mentorship for 6th grade researchers at Rhame as they finalize their projects that will be presented at STEM Night on May 9.

This student to student collaboration included engaging scientific discourse and resulted valuable feedback for the young science scholars.
